HIGHLANDER PRESS Virus Ruminations . . .
In the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, widespread racial unrest, and the pending national election where (with any luck at all) the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue will be replaced by an overwhelming majority of Americans voting him out, Daria and I visited the Olympic Peninsula last week to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. The challenge we encountered was minimal compared to what some Washingtonians are up against right now; there is a thick layer of fog/smoke lying over the Puget Sound region, from fires that are mostly raging on the eastern side of the Casecade Mountain Range. (There are local fires here on the western side, as well.) Our thoughts go out to all victims of these terrible fires. It's a difficult period right now.
